Do you know what this is?

Muskhan Khanna stands out in the professional tea scene. With a university degree from Birmingham UK. It would be fair to say that Muskhan is a disrupter in the world of tea processors. An investigator into new ways of making exceptional teas using state-of-the-art equipment in the “Blue Mountains” or “Nilgiri Hills” of Southern India. Oh, and did I mention that she is a woman?

This patent is a big achievement. It is one thing to create a new type of regional tea and another to have this tea officially recognised. Apart from tea processing equipment, this is the only new tea patent. Did I mention that it has taken 5 years, a lot of admin and cost to get here.

In both, the world of tea and coffee, it turns out that women often work harder than men to be recognised. Sometimes a good education isn’t enough.

We will be welcoming Muskhan and Indi to Ross, in June.
