James Gourmet Coffee is a family company hidden away in the market town of Ross-on-Wye.

This business is ALL about people, great coffee and lasting relationships.

Who are we?

We are an independent coffee roasting company with a great team.

James Gourmet Coffee is shaped around our customers’ needs and our passion for fantastic coffee and human customer service.

We deliver incredible value for money, making speciality coffee approachable and affordable.

Why are we still current?

In challenging times, most of us like to fall back on familiar, trusted suppliers.

JGC has been a roasting and learning curve, connecting with growers, suppliers and customers from all over the world to people on our doorstep.

We are passionate about preserving the environment, and although it may be unfashionable to say, we don’t need to be bigger to be effective.

The coffee world is constantly changing, and although things may feel uncertain, there is still a long-term future in this wonderful harvest.

TESTIMONIALS

Having purchased coffee beans from James Gourmet for several years now, I feel well positioned to champion them as one of the greats of the coffee industry. In an age where bags get smaller and prices steeper, James Gourmet manage to navigate the choppy waters of economic uncertainty and deliver true bang for your buck. Excellent beans at even better prices from people who care.
Ben Ricketts
Recently had an emergency "out of coffee" moment and, as I'm local, called in to buy some "emergency beans". Despite not having placed an online order, they helped me out with beans that had been roasted that day (wow!) and the coffee was delicious. They have now gone, and a new online order has just been placed!
Superb roaster- roasted on the day and delivered the next. Formula 6 is what I’ve settled on as my daily go to, more interesting than typical espresso blends, but easy to work with on a lower end machine (Sage Bambino). The 3-4 filter coffees I’ve tried have all been more vibrant and expressive than other roasters I’ve tried! And to top it off it’s great value for the quality, especially when bought 1kg at a time
