After extensive taste tests, of a couple of different styles (tough job eh…), we decided on this Colombian Nevado 36.5% white chocolate.
The Ultimate White Hot Chocolate features a perfect blend of fine cocoa butter, milk solids, and sugar. It is rich in vanilla and cream flavours, offering a sweet, luscious experience that isn’t overly sugary. The cocoa butter contributes to a silky mouthfeel, melting smoothly and offering a satisfying experience with every bite, or sip. The vanilla notes elevate the chocolate, while the touch of milk solids adds depth, making it perfect for those who enjoy a delicate but well-rounded white chocolate.
The name Nevado comes from the Colombian term for “snow-capped,” referring to the purity and elegance the chocolate aims to evoke. Its high cocoa butter content gives it a luxurious sheen and an impeccable smoothness, making it a versatile ingredient in various applications.
The buttons melt with ease in whole, hot, textured milk.
Recipe
(for those of us not munching on the sofa)
We recommend using 25g of this chocolate in a 6-8oz cup. For me, this is about super high quality and a chocolate drink that is chocolaty and as luxurious as can be.
Whatever anyone says about using good quality chocolate like this; more is more.
Tip: Chocolate melts really easily in the microwave, just keep a close eye as it can burn very easily.

This is a long-term, multi-layered project that is about education, empowerment, and the environment. For us, it’s a relationship too.
