Everyone has a ‘favourite’ mug, this might just be mine already!
There is something comforting about a knackerd old enamel mug, Peter’s is 30 odd years old and holds a collection of ‘important’ bits and bobs, mine is from a holiday 20 years ago and is now a very handy pen holder in ‘that drawer’ that holds everything…in case I need it one day.
Obviously we aren’t selling ‘knackered old mugs’ these are shiny new ones, perfect for the kitchen cupboard, or chucking in the rucksack with an aeropress for a wild brew, you can even heat the water in it on a campfire without damaging the artwork.
In a world where everything is disposable, we wanted to make something people want to keep hold of and repurpose time and time again.
These are handmade and the base colours hand painted before our design is applied, this is a relatively small run to test the water and find which colours hit the spot. We had to limit ourselves to 6 colours! they hold 12oz of coffee and are dishwasher and open fire proof, but please DO NOT put them in the Microwave, under the enamel coat is high quality steel!
