Fazenda Klem One Roast
Fazenda Klem One Roast
Fazenda Klem, sort of happened by accident and it is no bad thing! It looked horribly like we would be stranded with many bags of Brazilian Organic coffee that we couldn’t certificate at the beginning of this year, so seeing that we might be breaking promises all too soon, it was knee-jerk to the rescue and I found this organic coffee through some friends in Holland. Against all odds, it has improved and become the most rounded user-friendly coffee ever!
FARM; FAZENDA KLEM
AREA: MATAS DE MINAS
COUNTRY: BRAZIL
VARIET: CATUAI
PROCESS: FULLY WASHED (YOU DON’T SEE THAT EVERY DAY!)
ALTITUDE: 900-1250 METERS ABOVE SEALEVEL
ROAST: This is a developed filter.
CUP POTENTIAL: Rich, chocolaty and sweet in filter. It is just so easy to drink. In espresso, there is a light acidity, and a touch of white nut. In milk; peanut butter and chocolate. Easy. tasty and moreish.
Fazenda Klem made it to 3rd place in the Brazilian Cup of Excellence last year, scoring a whopping 91 points. The Klem family have been in coffee for almost 70 years and today they have partners they share their production with on a profit share.
