It turns out that getting coffee into Europe isn’t going very smoothly at the moment. Under-statement of the decade? We are really sorry for the frustration that this may be causing, but it is one thing sending out coffee for you to be held ransom to the tune of up to £50 for you to receive it on top. Apart from the fact that some of this is based on new rules, some of it is also additional charges for collecting charges by the transport companies who have been paid already. Watch those share prices?
Until things make sense again and have settled down, we have had to make the tough decision to hold off sending coffee to Europe. Shipping costs have gone through the roof and the “stand and deliver” of Ricard Turpin, doesn’t seem fair or be something we want our customers to suffer on our behalf.
