Over the years, the V60 has taken many forms, all being V-shaped and, of course, 60 degrees. If like me you have seen how the making of the V-60 has changed in recent times, you will also have noticed that plastic has become the material of choice for many, due to less heat loss in the brewing process. Heat loss negatively affects a brew’s time and consequently, its taste too.

We recommend starting with 60g a litre, so 20g of coffee to 330ml. Nicely brewed V60’s can be anywhere from 2.5-4 minutes as a rule of thumb.
