If you have read my over-communicated under-delivered explanation about “What does organic mean” in the coffee world, you may be relieved to know this will be a shorter post. Some of our customers regularly buy Simply Brazil and don’t know the difference between the standard and the Organic version.
Standard Simply Brazil is currently 2/3 non-organic coffee. This season we have prioritised which coffees we use first because the small family farms that we buy from, depend on us for pending harvests. Covid or no Covid.
Organic Simply Brazil. This year we bought more Organic Brazilian coffee than we ever have! The cup profile is more varied (complex) as there are 3 processes and 4 farms, each is great in their own right…and I would say that of all of the coffees in both. All well produced by great people.
