Ethiopian Adado needs little or no introduction to many people I know in the coffee industry. This mill is world famous for delivering some of the best natural processed coffees most of us have or will taste. (I love a big sweeping statement, don’t you?) The reality is that when you have tasted something really good, like a vintage claret from Haut Medoc, wine will never just be wine again. To add to the suspense, this comes from Abdullah Bageresh, who has generations of coffee ingrained in his Ethiopian DNA and has delivered some of the best coffees to us, via one method or another.

Altitude: 2000-2350 Meters above sealevel.
Many small holder farmers.
This is a light roast that extracts nicely as a super sweet filter and also a balanced, yet deeply fruity espresso.
Filter Brewing: Full emersion; Ripe melon/ pineapple tropical soft fruit sugars, rosehip, and soft background candid citrus.
Espresso: 18g-36g in 30-35 secs as a starting point. Fig ripeness and brown sugars. In milk Creamy, figgy and toffee.
